For thousands of years astrology has been drifting and out of popularity. Some people plan their entire day around astrology while some people think astrology is akin to worshiping the devil. No matter what the case, there many things that people to do not understand about the practice of astrology.
One of things that many people do not understand is that studying astrology is done in many different ways. Usually, in the western world, people only study the sun signs which are the signs we associate with our birth dates. But in places like China, it is common to only study the moon signs. In some parts of the world people study all the stars including plants to determine aspects of their lives.
Many people dismiss the study of astrology as being a bunch of hoo-haw because they realize that their daily horoscopes could not possibly be correct. In this respect, they would be right. Horoscopes should be viewed more for entertainment purposes rather than determining your day around them. Horoscopes usually claim to be written by actualy astrologists, but that is not often the case. And again, with so many different ways to read the stars, the so called astrologist may not be getting the whole picture. As it is, horoscopes are terribly general. They are meant to viewed by thousands of people. How could something so generic really mean much to anyone. If horoscopes could be trusted then everyone who was born the month of November would lead very similar lives, and we all know that it is not the case. Rather, real astrologists use the date of your birth, star charts, and planetary study to determine decisions for you on an individual basis.
One thing is for certain, astrology is a vast field that is largely misunderstood. Rather than dismiss astrology as a bunch of nonsense, get the full picture beyound a daily horoscope.
